The work on this site belongs to thirty-something human-like being, Ryan Wayne Quincy of Los Angeles, CA. At an early age, Ryan showed an obvious talent for drawing. Early inspirations included 1970's and 80's superhero comics, King Kong, Star Wars, 7-11, The Loch Ness Monster, Bigfoot, and dinosaurs among others.
His talents, imagination, and ambition have taken him from his home state of Nebraska to Los Angeles where he is currently the lead animator on Comedy Central's South Park. Prior to joining South Park, Ryan worked as an animator and set builder on the stop motion shorts that formerly showed on MAD TV.
Ryan's work has appeared in many different places and in many different forms. Besides his own animated shorts, Ryans work has appeared in magazines, on band posters and t-shirts, as well as various art shows throughout L.A.
Ryan's creations combine elements of the ordinary and the peculiar in a simple yet striking style that is distinctly his own. It is a magical world of childlike innocence mixed with the bizarre and melancholy that make you smile and sometimes cringe.
